FIRST TIME Watching BATMAN v SUPERMAN Ultimate Edition… SO DARK?!

I’m reacting to BATMAN v SUPERMAN: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition for the first time after loving Man of Steel — and this dark Snyderverse movie completely blew me away. As a horror fan, I was shocked by how grim, intense, emotional, and visually gorgeous Batman v Superman was, from Ben Affleck’s brutal Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman to Wonder Woman’s surprise entrance, the score, the atmosphere, and the darker DC tone. After starting my Snyderverse journey with Man of Steel, I’m continuing with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition — and this was definitely not the typical superhero movie I expected. I loved the dark atmosphere, the music, the visuals, the twists, Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and especially Wonder Woman showing up when I least expected it. By the end, I was blown away by Zack Snyder’s vision and I cannot wait to watch Zack Snyder’s Justice League next. Was Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition misunderstood?
