Trains In All Shapes & Sizes! | Telford Steam Railway Model Railway Exhibition 2026

Join me for a fantastic day at the Telford Steam Railway on Sunday 26th July 2026, where I visited the railway's popular Model Railway Exhibition, spread across Horsehay Village Hall and Railway House at Horsehay & Dawley Station. During the exhibition, I filmed 13 impressive model railway layouts, showcasing a wide variety of scales, eras and modelling styles, along with the railway's permanent OO gauge model railway at Railway House. Away from the exhibition, there was plenty of real railway action too! Avonside 0-6-0ST No. 1919 "Cranford" was in steam hauling passenger trains, filmed at both Spring Village Station and Horsehay & Dawley Station. There was also the Telford Town Tramway, where the unique narrow gauge steam tram "Thomas Telford" has returned to service following repairs, along with the 5-inch gauge Phoenix Miniature Railway alongside Spring Village Station. The event also featured the railway's museum, gift shop, second-hand bookshop and tearoom, making it a brilliant day out for railway enthusiasts and families alike.
