Airbus A321 NEO landing in SANTORINI (Cockpit View)

Flight from Athens to Santorini, one of the most famous island in the world! Overflying the magnificent caldera where you can enjoy the view on what is today still an active volcano, still one of the best sunset I ever witness! Following a VORB approach then a right base for an amended Visual Approach runway 33 as we were following another traffic coming to land as number 2 behind him. Some particularities for this airport, the runway is narrow (30m wide) and 2100m long. Terrain is in the path of the arrival runway 33 as you will notice, it is considered for most of the airlines as a challenging Category C airport meaning that only Captains are authorized to operate as a Pilot Flying for Take off and Landing. My company, following some strict procedures, consider Santorini as a Category B airport and allows the First Officer to operate as PF. Enjoy guys!
