Lead Pot 1 - Alloying and Ingot Casting

A welder friend did the work according to my plans. The aluminum sheet on the outside is to help keep the heat from escaping. The main part is a cutoff from a 12" steel pipe. 3/8 thickness. Then a circle was cut and welded inside for the bottom. The bottom is sloped towards the valve. Holds about 300 pounds. The burner is just a "turkey fryer" from Bayou Classic.
