Live Sound POV Setup: Seven Monitor Sends? No Monitor Engineer? No Problems In this Gig Log, we're back to a venue we did last year, but didn't get video of it last year. The Tent venue is unique for how wide it is. The #meyersound X-40's wide dispersion helped here. Aside from the venue, we also ended up running seven monitor mixes. Over the years, I have what I feel is a good system for running monitors. We normally run 6 monitors with separate sends for this particular band. When asked for an extra, due to the venue acoustics, we were able to easily provide it. I am really a big fan of coaxial speakers for monitors, and have been very happy with my DbTechnologies FMX series speakers.
