The Keanu Reeves Scam: Here's How It Begins

Do not fall for the Keanu Reeves scam, whether it be a romance scam (or pig butchering scam) or a friendship scam. Keanu Reeves is an actor from "The Matrix" films, the "John Wick" films and other movies. In this video, I briefly talk about the CBS News Colorado article titled, "Colorado woman appears to be latest victim of 'Keanu Reeves Scam': 'This is the real Keanu Reeves.'" Here's a link: https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news.... The article talks about a woman who fell for the Keanu Reeves scam. In my video, I will show you how the scam apparently begins. I easily found posts with accounts pretending to be Keanu Reeves and his supposed agent Meredith Wechter. I show what these scammers do in order to get people to believe they're talking to the real Keanu Reeves. According to the CBS News article, which quoted the U.S. Justice Department, some of the scammers come from West Africa. I recommend you watch some of the video in the CBS News article, which says the scammers use technology to make the scammers look and sound just like Keanu Reeves. In other words, it's some sort of deepfake video technology combined with AI audio. I didn't note this in my video properly.
