We took a wrong turn.... and found this hidden gem! Episode 7

In this week's vlog, we leave Gas Street Basin in Birmingham and head north along the Birmingham Main Line Canal, planning to reconnect with the historic Old Main Line further along our journey. Things don't quite go to plan! Believing we'd found a route back onto the Old Main Line, we make the decision to turn off the main line canal. Unfortunately, we soon discover that our chosen route doesn't reconnect where we expected, and with nowhere suitable to turn around, we're committed to seeing where the canal takes us. What starts as a navigational mistake soon becomes a wonderful surprise as we stumble across the stunning Bumble Hole Nature Reserve. Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you take the wrong turn!
