It’s an amazing laptop with refreshed chassis, and an all-powerful AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and Nvidia GeForce 3000 Series GPU. The display is offered in Full HD 1080P 360Hz refresh rate or 165Hz QHD. Compared to the previous generation, this is silent and friendlier to use with daily multitasking and casual tasks, 10-20% faster in games and workloads, and significantly quieter. But there's still a catch: both the CPU and GPU run hot with games on the default power profiles, however, you can address this in the Manual mode. In this review we're getting in-depth on all the important aspects you should consider before deciding on buying it. When it comes to performance, the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 is an absolute beast. It runs all titles without any glitch just like a hot knife slicing through butter. The thermal design is great ensuring the laptop maintains optimal temperature while running heavy tasks like Triple A games or video editing. Design-wise, Asus went with a cleaner black theme on the 2021 Scar 17 model and subtle branding elements that focus on the ROG brand. The lid is metal and mostly matte, with a glossy pattern on the left bottom side that weirdly spells ROG. In fact, there are all sorts of hidden Easter-eggs messages and graphics on this laptop, and I’ll let you discover them in the video. #AsusStrixScar17 ►TIMESTAMPS◄ 0:00 - Intro 1:20 - Specs 2:27 - The Design 3:54 - The Screen 4:35 - Performance 5:08 - Thermal Design 5:40 - I/O Ports 5:58 - Pros & Cons 6:17 - Verdict 7:01 - Conclusion ►FOLLOW◄ Twitter: @techquadrangle Instagram: @techquadrangle ►VIDEOS YOU MAY LIKE TO WATCH◄ MSI Gaming Laptop - Best 5 in 2021 -    • MSI Gaming Laptop - Best 5 in 2021   ►DISCLAIMER◄ The following video abides by the YouTube Community Guideline.
