Gay, Georgia with it's population of 110 (2020) is one of the loveliest small towns in the state. I'll bet everybody knows everybody here and nothing happens that the whole community is not involved. The Cotton Pickin' Fair held in May and October since 1972 is one of the creative ways they keep their town relevant.
