TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the name of Raffi Ahmad, the President's Special Envoy for Youth Development and Arts Workers, has surfaced in an alleged corruption case within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise at the Ministry of Finance. Raffi Ahmad's name has reportedly been on the KPK's radar since the beginning of the case and was only publicly confirmed in court, through testimony from a related party. This confirmation was made by Acting Director of Investigations at the KPK, Achmad Taufik Husein, on Tuesday (June 9). Raffi's involvement began in the trial of the defendant, the boss of PT Blueray Cargo, John Field. During the trial, prosecutors traced the request for the shipment of electronic goods, including laptops and iPhone 17 phones, from the United States to Indonesia. The request coincided with Raffi's visit to the Blueray Cargo office in the United States. The KPK stated that the facts from the trial will not be allowed to fade away. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) plans to further investigate Raffi Ahmad's involvement in the Customs and Excise investigation. Meanwhile, Raffi Ahmad has partnered with renowned lawyer Hotman Paris regarding the case. On his Instagram account, Hotman believes that Raffi Ahmad has been defamed by certain parties in the case.
