Hiking Lewis river falls in Washington | We spotted a trout fish !!| Vlog August 2022

In this video, we explore Washington's beautiful and majestic Lewis river falls. Part of the Gifford Pinchot forest, the Lewis river falls trail comprises of three sections: upper, middle and lower. It is hard to put one above the other as all three sections are equally unique and surreal. Moreover, having Soniya back on the trail after her long vacation made this hike extra special! We started Lewis river falls trail at the crab creek trailhead. The bright sunny weather allowed us to capture some of the most stunning images and videos of the river and the falls. The entire hike is about 8.6 mile with 970 ft elevation in total. This is a rather family friendly hike. Having learnt about this later, you can also drive up close to the lower and middle Lewis river falls where there are designated parking spots, if you dont prefer the long walk. Since this fall resides in the middle of Gifford forest, there are not a ton of visitors here. You may find a few of them swimming in the lower falls region.
