Makumbi Children's Home was established in 1930 by Dominican Sisters and now it is a Jesuit Apostolate. We are located 46km from Harare, Zimbabwe. The Organisation was founded on the basis of providing place of safety for children abandoned or neglected. Each child receives love and respect so that they develop a sense of personal value and dignity. The development is achieved through physical, spiritual moral, academic and social education. In other words each one in the Home is a child of God and therefore must be loved, respected and cared for.
