We put one of the best-selling electric cars in Spain to the test: the MG4 Electric. The MG4 Electric is a compact model measuring 4.29 meters, making it a rival to the Renault Megane E-Tech, Cupra Born, Volkswagen ID.3, and BYD Dolphin. The MG4's advantage over its rivals is its very affordable price for its performance, although it's true that it lacks high-quality materials and its multimedia system could be significantly improved. It's available in five trim levels, with four power outputs and three different batteries. We tested the Luxury trim. This means it has a 64 kWh net capacity battery with a homologated range of 435 kilometers and a maximum power of 204 hp. As always, in this test we review all aspects of the car, highlighting both its positive and negative points. We also reviewed the design, interior space, technology, rear seats, trunk, the different powertrains and batteries, as well as the performance and real-world range we achieved.
