At this point, jeeps couldn’t go any further, so we had to walk the remaining stretch. The trek in the dark wasn’t easy, but the moment we arrived at Fairy Meadows, all the fear and exhaustion disappeared. The stunning views of Nanga Parbat, the peaceful meadows, and the raw beauty of northern Pakistan made it all worth it.
