Sportbike Coolant Change - Ducati 1198
See Notes Below... The coolant change procedure described in 'a version' of the Ducati 1098/1198 service manual is totally wrong and could lead some people to fry their engine. Here's how it's done properly. I'm not a certified mechanic and make no claims about accuracy, so do this at your own risk. ------------------------------------------ NOTE1: Be sure to add anti-freeze as needed for where you live and what type of riding you do. This vid depicts the use of a water/water-wetter mixture only. NOTE2: See Tristan Bactac's tip in the comments section below about a better way to drain the expansion tank for this type of bike.
