A Walk Through Hampstead Garden Suburb

Located North of Hampstead and West of Highgate, the Hampstead Garden Suburb became a planned community and was founded in 1907 by social reformer and author Dame Henrietta Barnett along with her husband Samuel. Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust https://www.hgstrust.org/ And dominating much of the Suburb Gardens as well as other parts of Hampstead is the spire of St Jude's Church. https://www.stjudeonthehill.com/ Interestingly a private bill was put before Parliament that originally brought about The Hampstead Garden Suburb Act of 1906 which allowed less land to be taken up by roads, and encouraged more gardens and open green spaces.
