Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Religious Endowments, led the prayer at Al-Rahman Al-Rahim Mosque, followed by the Eid sermon. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had arrived earlier at Al-Rahman Al-Rahim Mosque in the New Administrative Capital to perform the Eid al-Adha prayer, accompanied by a number of senior state officials.
