The Angel Tree program goes back to 1979 when it was started by the Salvation Army in order to help families in need provide a Christmas they would otherwise not have. Angel Tree program provides Christmas gifts, toys and assistance to over 1 million family annually. As a former Angel tree myself I wanted to bring more awareness to the Salvation Army and their efforts to bring more smiles to family and children across the world. It would not be possible without people like you and me that are more willing to give than to receive.
