US & International - https://www.amazon.com/shop/neilredfern In this How I shot it tutorial video I talk you through exactly how I created a simple off camera flash portrait by balancing the natural ambient light with my off camera flash.  A good off camera flash portrait is all about first exposing for the highlights, the brightest part of the scene, then placing the bride/subject in one of the resulting dark areas of the composition, then lighting them with an off camera flash - which is exactly what I do in this video.  To light Liv, my model in this video, I used the MagMod MagBox with a Godox V860 ii speedlight. I used the focus diffuser on the MagBox as well as a 8x ND filter. All shots were taken on my Sony A9 with Sony 85mm 1.8 and Canon 50mm 1.2 lenses. When using the Canon lens I use the Sigma MC11 adapter. A huge thank you to Liv for modelling, who was fantastic to work with!
