PhD Thesis Defense - Anush Krishnan, Boston University
The talk is about immersed boundary methods. The first part deals with applying the immersed boundary projection method to a model problem where we studied the aerodynamics of the cross-section of a species of flying snake, Chrysopelea paradisi. The second part of the talk is about the analysis and development of a fully discrete second-order direct forcing method.
