Found My Dream Planer and Jointer
A few months ago I saw a listing on Kijiji (Canadian Craigslist) for these two old machines which happen to be my dream planer and jointer! They were manufactured in the 80s in Drummondville Quebec, Canada by General Mfg. Getting them into the shop and through our narrow doorways required some creative thinking and disassembly. With the help of our friend Brent, we were able to get these tools into our basement shop. Then, we restored and re-assembled them with new upgraded helical cutter heads.
