A day in the life
This vlog marks my departure from New York—under circumstances that weren’t ideal, but experiences that changed me in ways I didn’t expect. Through it all, I grew, I learned, and I gained new friends who feel like family. And the best part? I know New York will always be there for me when the time is right. Now I’m back home in Washington, D.C., and it’s a bittersweet transition. Life has been moving in so many directions—I’ve experienced the loss of my aunt while also celebrating another aunt’s marriage. It’s a reminder that life keeps unfolding, sometimes painfully, sometimes beautifully, often all at once. I’m choosing to trust the journey, to follow where God is leading me, and to embrace this next chapter with an open heart. Because life is always “lifing”—and when it does, you have to move in the direction meant for you. Let’s see what the future holds. 💫
