How To Tune Your Vocals – This “How I Produce” video is all about vocal tuning. Knowing how to tune your vocals is really important. Vocals that are out of tune can be unpleasant and distracting to listen to, but so can vocals that are too perfectly tuned. We need to be able to approach the process sympathetically and manually tuning vocals using programs such as Flex Pitch allows us to do this. If you’re not a Logic Pro X user, there are other programs and software that you can use and apply the same principles to such as Melodyne or Waves Tune. In this video, we look at preparing the track, how to load up and use Flex Pitch, some general advice for manual tuning, an example of working through tuning a vocal phrase and a cool additional feature of Flex Pitch.
