Christ is Physical

God sent His Son to earth to become one of us. He was born a human being and is physical just as we are. God had made the plan from before time that Jesus would come but that plan included the fact that Jesus would be a physical human being. This is an amazing thing because when Jesus became one of us He became that forever. God is now physical in Jesus and Jesus remains physical forever. The Father is not physical and the Holy Spirit is not physical but they in their fulness dwell in the physical body of Jesus Christ. Why did God plan this? Because this is the means by which we can become children of God. Jesus is the firstborn Son of God. He has pioneered a way for us so that in, Him we too can become sons and daughters of God. When God created Adam He had more in mind than just man swanning around in a garden forever. He always planned for earthly man to be joined to Christ and bear the image of the heavenly man. Jesus is the heavenly man. He is the image of the invisible God. We have been invited to become members of the body of Christ. We are to be flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone.
