Slades goal wasn’t sexual— it was about: power, control, and shaping Robin into a version of himself. He used tactics to: -isolate Robin from his team -build “trust” through fear (threatening to robin he would kill his team if he didnt obey) -manipulation disguised as mentorship -emotional blackmail -“we’re alike” rhetoric to make Robin question his sense of self -coersion masked as choice -psychological abuse in general Gr00ming is a process where a person (usually an adult) builds trust with a child/vulnerable person to later manipulate/exploit/abuse them. In this case, slades intention was to psychologically (and I guess you could say physically) abuse and manipulate Robin. Again, gr00ming is not always sexual.
