This road is known as the alternate route to the eastern plains. Given the difficulties due to the topography and the geological faults of the Bogotá, Villavicencio and Sogamoso, Yopal routes, the transversal of the Sisga is an alternative from or to the Colombian plain. On this occasion we toured a road that took us through the municipalities of Aguazul and Monterrey, Casanare, San Luis de Gaceno, Santa Maria, Garagoa, Chinavita, Tibaná, Jenesano, Boyacá and Soracá, Boyacá, passing through the Chivor dam and going through 14 tunnels, until you reach Tunja!
