A Pole Walking Lesson
This 10-minute Pole Walking Lesson was developed by Jamie Strzepek, a certified Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine and a certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise and was certified as an Advanced Nordic Walking Instructor. Jamie has a Bachelors of Science in Health and Physical Education and a Masters in Educational Ministries. Walking with Poles activates and aids in strengthening the muscles of the arms, shoulders, chest, back and core as well as the legs, using 90 percent of the body’s major muscle groups. Pole Walking is a physical and recreational exercise that provides health benefits for all ages and genders.
