Ep17: Chainmaille for Beginners - Beaded Japanese 8 in 2 Weave.
#OctopusDo EP.17 In Part 5 of Chainmaille for Beginners we'll get an introduction to the beautiful Beaded Japanese 8 in 2 chainmaille weave! Start here with the 8 in 2. This means that for every 2 base rings, 8 more are connected to them. Give it a try & you'll see what I mean. Oh, and this one has beads! The 8 in 2 weave makes a beautiful spine that supports 2 lines of beads on either side! Fill the spaces with round beads, pearls or bicones as I did here. There's an alternate less complicated technique that I demonstrate in this video that can be found @ 46:31
