ISIOLO MODOGASHE MANDERA ROAD 45% COMPLETE

The construction of the Isiolo–Modogashe road, a key segment of the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project, has reached 45 percent completion. This milestone marks a major stride toward transforming the economic and social landscape of northern Kenya. Resident Engineer Justus Otwali, who oversees the Kulamawe–Modogashe section, reported steady progress despite earlier challenges related to security and logistics. The project began in September 2022 and is expected to be completed by May 2027. With the support of sub-county security teams, most challenges have been resolved, allowing work to continue smoothly.
