What an incredible day of magnet fishing in St. Cloud, Florida! This time we explored a forgotten one-lane bridge just a few blocks from one of the historic forts built in the early 1800s to help protect the river and the railroad that once ran through the area. That railroad has been gone since the late 1940s, but history still lies beneath the water! We pulled up old railroad spikes, nails, a vintage Westinghouse power meter, and plenty of other rusty relics that have been hidden for decades. You never know what you'll find when you drop a magnet into Florida's waterways, and this spot definitely didn't disappoint. Every item tells a story and helps preserve a little piece of local history while cleaning up the environment at the same time. Get up. Get out.
