A Glowing Ocean Wave And a Unicorn | Epoxy Resin Diorama

I built a glowing ocean epoxy resin diorama inspired by a frozen coastline that only thaws once every few years. When the ice recedes, the sea comes to life—and a mysterious unicorn appears along the cliffs. This build takes place along the southern coast of Frostspire Dominion, on the edge of the Shardglacier Sea—the only place in this frozen land where winter briefly loosens its grip. For a short time each year, the coastline awakens. The ocean glows with an otherworldly light, revealing life beneath the surface… and something more. In this video, I create a cinematic fantasy diorama from start to finish, combining terrain building, miniature painting, and epoxy resin water effects to capture that fleeting moment between seasons. From sculpting the cliffside to shaping the crashing wave and lighting the scene from within, this build is all about atmosphere, storytelling, and bringing a world to life in miniature. Field Notes: Trade ship sailors tell stories of glaciers on the southern edge of Frostspire Dominion receding and the coastline coming to life . When it does, the Shardglacier Sea begins to glow—not with warmth, but with something ancient beneath the surface.
