50mm f/0.95 ASPH TTArtisan Lens Review
In today's episode, I review a remarkable 50mm f/0.95 lens for the Leica M mount produced by the Shenzen-based company TTArtisan, which was only founded in 2019. With this lens, TTArtisan obviously takes on the biggest and most established player in the room: Leica with its legendary 50mm Noctilux f/0.95 lens. While a Noctilux sets you back 12.000 Euro, this TTArtisan alternative comes in at around 700 Euro. But is it worth it? I took the lens with me on a trip to Hong Kong to test it properly, shooting some street shots, landscapes, architecture and portraits of a friend on Ilford Delta 100 and Kodak ProImage 100. Let’s take a closer look at this lens, its build quality, optical design and the results it produces. More about the lens: https://ttartisan.myshopify.com/produ...
