Tulip season in The Netherlands

I live in the Netherlands for almost five years but this was the first time seeing the tulip fields. I came with no expectations but it turned out way better than I could have ever imagined. Now, I am no expert at flying a drone, this was close after I had bought it… and I did run into a problem with transferring the footage from the drone to my phone so I feel like the video lost some quality. The Bulb region (Bollenstreek) 📌 Lisse 📌 Noordwijkerhout 📌 Hillegom & Voorhout (these two should be less crowded than Lisse during peak season 🫣) 📌 De Zilk & Sassenheim Tulip season in the Netherlands typically runs from late March to mid-May, with the peak bloom usually in mid-April. 🍀 Respect private property: The vast majority of tulip fields are on private land. Do not enter the fields unless explicitly permitted. Stick to pathways and designated viewing areas to avoid damaging the flowers and bulbs. Some tulip farms welcome visitors during specific times. These often provide a more personal experience and the opportunity to learn about tulip cultivation.
