Top 75 Moves of Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega debuted in 2000, primarily wrestling for Canadian promotions for the first few years. He would occasionally show up in the States, wrestling one-offs in promotions like NWA-Wildside & WLW. He would start to get more American exposure when he becamse a regular for JAPW & PWS in 2007, and would go on to capture the JAPW Heavyweight Title in early 2008 from Low Ki. He would secure regular spots in PWG & ROH as well in 2008. This year would also bring his debut in Japan. Kenny became a fan of Kota Ibushi and the DDT promotion. So much so that he would record a DDT-like match in his own backyard, and sent it to the promotion. This would actually garner their attention, and he got himself booked. Kenny Omega would start tagging with the wrestler who influenced his desire to wrestle in Japan, Kota Ibushi. Collectively, they were known as the Golden Lovers. They would capture DDT's KO-D Tag Team Titles in 2009. Kenny would also return to PWG in 2009, and would go on to win the Battle Of Los Angeles tournament, capturing the PWG World Title in the process. He would continue wrestling in Japan throughout 2010, including a debut in NJPW. He would have a decent run in the Best Of The Super Juniors, and the Golden Lovers would capture the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles from Apollo 55. He would continue to work his way up the ladder in Japan. He would win DDT's 2012 King Of DDT Tournament. He also found himself debuting in AJPW, even winning the AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Championship from KAI. He also won the JAPW Light Heavyweight Title from Jushin Thunder Liger, who was defending it in New Japan at the time. In a matter of a month, Kenny would capture both the KO-D Openweight Title & the Extreme Title in DDT, starting 2013 with a bang. He would also reignite his Tag Team would Kota Ibushi, which had been intermittent the last couple years. They would carry this momentum into 2014, and capture the KO-D Tag Team Titles for a second time. He would continue keeping his presence known in New Japan, with a decent effort in the Best Of The Super Juniors. He would also make his return to PWG after nearly 2 years. Wrestling in the Battle Of Los Angeles, losing to Ricochet in the Semi-Finals. As 2014 would wind down, Kenny would say goobye to DDT, having his last match in October, poetically tagging with Kota Ibushi vs. Danshoku Dino & a young Konosuke Takeshita. He would attack Rysuke Taguchi, and challenge him for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title. He would also join Bullet Club, being billed as "The Cleaner" of the Junior Heavyweight division. He was successful in capturing IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title from Taguchi, his first match of 2015, and his first official match after being signed to New Japan. He actually captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title a 2nd time, later that same year from KUSHIDA. The next couple years, besides a couple bookings here and there, Kenny would be a New Japan exclusive. Winning essentially every Title & Tournament they had to offer. Including the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship & even IWGP Heavyweight Championship. He would also win the G-1 Climax in 2016, & make it to the Finals in 2017. Nowadays, you can find Kenny Omega tearing it up in AEW. He was out for quite a while with Diverticulitis, but he's back and seems better than ever. Hope you guys like this one, I know it was a long time coming, lol.
