Dequindre Road is one of the major north and south roads going through the northern suburbs of Metro Detroit. I head north on the entire main stretch of Dequindre Road from just south of Caniff Avenue in Hamtramck all the way to where the main stretch ends at Mount Vernon Road just southwest of 26 Mile Road. This stretch of Dequindre Road goes through Hamtramck, Detroit, Warren, Hazel Park, Madison Heights, Sterling Heights, Troy, Shelby Township, and Rochester Hills.
