1st round of the 1986 King George V Gold Cup 18 y.o. Ryan's Son (ISH) and John Whitaker went on to win the jump-off against the clock. Ryan's Son was by the Thoroughbred Ozymandias and out of a mare who had Connemara and Clydesdale blood. Born in 1968 he stood only 15.3 hh (160cm) and was flamous for his kick-back.
