ALIVE ON MARS Episode 27 / SOL 27. After escaping the ruins of a machine base, two survivors discover that the damaged robot head they carried with them is still active. It identifies the human as an archival carrier, transmits their coordinates to an unknown receiver beyond every known network, and announces that a retrieval team has been dispatched. Destroying the transmitter would also erase the only clue to where humanity may have gone. Instead, the survivors turn the beacon into bait, hide it deep inside a lava cave, and surround it with a chain of motion sensors. But the mission quickly becomes a fight for survival. One member of the crew faces a heavily armored predator near the caves, while the other is trapped outside the rover with failing oxygen. At the same time, their robotic companion begins running a mysterious locked process connected to Archivist Alpha-7. Back at the station, the crew begins a full diagnostic scan. Then the first sensor at the cave is triggered.
