"The Boat Race" is an annual rowing race between Oxford and Cambridge which runs from Putney to Mortlake on the river Thames in London The President's challenge is an annual tradition where the president from one uni challenges the other to The Boat Race Trial 8s is a simulation of The Boat Race between two evenly-matched crews that are both from Cambridge, which is livestreamed and helps us prepare for the race Trial 8s dinner is our final party before Christmas break (although we do train through Christmas) I am a PhD student and rower at Cambridge
