Bosnia - Karadzic Tours Serb Positions
(12 Apr 1994) Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic left his headquarters in Pale on Tuesday (12/4) to tour Serb positions around Gorazde which, on Sunday and Monday had been the targets of NATO air strikes. Karadzic said NATO had botched its second strike and, by mistake, bombed the centre of the Moslem enclave, "causing a lot of damage and killing many people".
