We're Zhen and Carrie (#Zherrie) and here's our reaction video to Act 1 of the Newsies: The Broadway Musical (2017) movie that's currently available on Disney Plus! This is the very first time we're watching Newsies, although we have seen their performance at the 2012 Tony Awards and listened to the cast recording a couple of times. We know that the ballet-inspired choreography is insane thanks to what we saw at the Tonies, but it still didn't prepare us for how impressively dance-heavy the show was! Not only that, the leads Jeremy Jordan and Kara Lindsay totally knocked it out of the park with their performances as Jack Kelly and Katherine Plumber... Their singing and acting were so on point!
