Interview with Tear Drive: touring with The Jungle Giants

In this episode of Band Banta, I catch up with Brisbane indie-rock outfit ‪@TearDriveBand‬ while they’re on the road for their first-ever interstate tour supporting The Jungle Giants! We chat about the band’s origins as childhood friends, their journey breaking into Brisbane’s music scene, and the release of their debut EP, Face To Face. The band also reflects on the songwriting process behind the record, what they learnt while creating it, and why the EP is best experienced from start to finish. We also dive into life on tour, their first experiences playing larger stages and interstate crowds, the biggest “pinch me” moments so far, and what the band has in store for the rest of the year.
