He explains how thrust is measured. Jeff Little carries out a functional demonstration of the IP-67 Waterproof Certification by submerging a 915 Watt hour battery into a tank for 30 minutes. The communication between motor, throttle and battery is explained using an Ultralight system. Examples of how the integrated GPS module helps the user know remaining range are provided. Motor model specific propeller design is explained, as well as how the right propeller design allows the most efficient use of a rare earth magnet equipped high torque, low rpm electric outboard.
