Hagen von Ortloff - Eisenbahn-Spieler zeigt Modellbahn-/Verkehrsgeschichte - IMA Märklin Tage 2019

In the past, Hagen von Ortloff was regularly in front of the camera for SWR (South West Broadcast in Germany) and reported on prototype and model railways on the program “Eisenbahnromantik” (Railway romance). Now, in his time of “unretirement”, he and Lutz Meder, a good friend, are fully dedicated to his long-standing hobby. At the International Model Railway Exhibition IMA in Göppingen, he has been showing a selection of railway systems and other beautiful toys from various times (mainly in H0 - 1 : 87) in the large tent at the Stauferpark (in Göppingen) with railway systems from September 13th to 15th 2019. He explained some of them to me during this interview. He also emphasized in the interview that he and his good friend are "railway players". The motto of the stand of Hagen von Ortloff and Lutz Meder is "Model Railway and Transport History" and shows a wide variety of great old and new toy treasures. The video shows, among other things: 00:00 Welcome - Hagen von Ortloff in private as player 01:00 Monorail by Schuco (built from 1959) 01:47 H0e field train Minitrains (based on Egger-Bahn) 02:38 Explanations about lorry cable car from Eheim 04:32 Stuttgart Tram GT4 from Halling from Vienna 05:04 TM 800 - 1st Märklin train from Hagen von Ortloff 05:40 Wooden construction kit "The beautiful German City" 06:06 Margarine figures with reliefs of city sights 07:09 trolleybus system from Eheim (later by Brawa) I wish you good entertainment and thank Hagen von Ortloff again for having time for me and for this interview report on September 13, 2019 at the IMA, which I also had a lot of fun with.
