Barely Catching Big Boy! - Blasdell, NY

On June, 9th 2026, Big Boy aka Union Pacific 4014 rumbled into my neck of the woods! My father, son & I made a day of chasing Big Boy from Irving, NY to Blasdell, NY and lastly at Buffalo, NY. We made a full day of this, got to spend time together, had lots of laughs, got rained on and went out for a nice lunch! What an exciting, marvelous day! Kind of crazy when you think about all of the excitement and happiness this locomotive has brought to people all over America!
