I did NOT expect this! Testing H-alpha filters - Astronomik 12 nm vs cheap 20 nm filter

In this video, I compare two very different H-alpha filters for astrophotography using my astro-modified Canon 6D — a premium clip-in filter from Astronomik and a cheap no-name front-mounted filter. Is the expensive option really worth it, or can a budget filter deliver similar results? I take both filters out under the night sky and capture real data. You’ll then see the edited results and analysis together with my pros and cons of each filter. Whether you're just getting into astrophotography or thinking about upgrading your gear, this comparison should help you decide which H-alpha filter is right for you. Let me know in the comments — would you go budget or premium? If you enjoyed the video, consider liking and subscribing for more astrophotography content! I am really hoping to expand my channel.
