DELHI 🇮🇳 il mio primo vero impatto con l’INDIA

DELHI, my first real encounter with INDIA 🇮🇳 Good morning, sweethearts After a much more complicated journey than expected... I finally arrive in India. It was supposed to be my first stop in Asia this month, but between schedule changes, canceled flights, and unexpected detours, I arrived there via Athens, Istanbul, and even Kazakhstan. My first impression of Delhi is intense: people everywhere, constant honking, markets bursting with color, strong smells, and a truly indescribable amount of excitement. As soon as I arrive, they even give me henna... obviously, I can't say no. I get lost among the markets of Old Delhi, visit the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, explore the city by tuk tuk, endless traffic, and situations I've never seen before. I also visit the Swaminarayan Akshardham, one of the city's most impressive temples, entering without a phone and leaving all my things with the driver... a person I'd met just hours earlier. My first Indian meal immediately turns out to be incredible: out-of-this-world chicken butter, extremely spicy but definitely a hit. With only three days to visit Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, I decide to hire a driver to optimize my travels and see as much as possible. And after such an intense day... the journey to the next stop begins.
