Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Warning WITH SIREN ACTIVATION!! (7/15/24)

So I was out of state during this whole derecho event unfortunately, but luckily my parents and my grandma swung in and filmed the weather radio alerts and siren activation for me, so shoutouts to them for making this video possible. On July 15, 2024, the tornado sirens of Bloomington-Normal, IL were activated as a result of a destructive severe thunderstorm with the possibility of producing 80 mph wind gusts approaching the Twin Cities. Prior to that, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning which was a result of this storm (and later got the “SVR-D” tag) and a Tornado Warning just west of Bloomington was issued through NOAA Weather Radio.
