In this material, I discuss bra-ket notation. This is the language used in modern quantum mechanics. I show what bras, kets, inner and outer products, Hermitian conjugation, and how to perform basic calculations in this notation. This material is intended for those just starting to learn quantum mechanics. I assume only a knowledge of matrices and complex numbers.
