1944, VOODOO MAN with Bella Lugosi, John Carradine & George Zucco

This 1944 horror movie is pretty entertaining. I did enjoy it. In this movie Dr. Richard Marlowe played by Bella Lugosi with help from his cohorts {George Zucco & John Carradine} uses a combination of voodoo rite and hypnotic suggestion, attempting to revive his beautiful, but long-dead, wife, by transferring the life essences of several hapless young girls he has kidnapped and imprisoned in the dungeon beneath his mansion. There are some really great Flying A gas station scenes in this film. His mad scientist apparatus is pretty cool also and when you get into the dungeon the mid-evil look to it does the film justice. The perpetrators use many cool ideas for concealing their location including a Batman style entrance from the man road hidden by bushes and a secret tunnel entrance.
