WC Fire Season | Strong winds fan Wolseley blaze, firefighting efforts still under way
Fire crews from the Cape Winelands District Municipality are battling a large vegetation fire which broke out in Wolseley yesterday afternoon. Authorities say overnight conditions were exacerbated by very strong winds, dense smoke and uneven terrain. Officials say fire teams managed to prevent the loss of numerous structures.
